Kyle McCauley, Deputy Assistant Director of Special Projects / Staff Epidemiologist

Kyle received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Master of Public Health Degree in Epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas. He is also currently studying to get his Certification in Public Health to complement his Master’s Degree.
Kyle recently joined the Victoria County Public Health Department as our resident Epidemiologist, he works closely with the State Health Department to monitor infectious disease activity in Victoria County. He has made it his mission to identify the major causes of infectious diseases in our community and prevent and contain future outbreaks of those diseases. Read more about the Epidemiology.
