Commissioner Kenneth Sexton was elected as Victoria County Commissioner for Precinct 4 in 2022 and began serving in January 2023. He is one of four precinct commissioners who, along with the County Judge, make up the Commissioners Court, responsible for overseeing the county’s general business and financial matters.
Sexton believes his professional background has prepared him well for public service. He emphasizes honesty, transparency, and accountability, qualities he considers essential for an effective county commissioner. Drawing from his business experience, he approaches challenges with hands-on knowledge, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to serving the community’s best interests.
A native to the area, Sexton grew up in a small family with one sister and now lives in Inez with his wife and three children. He is the owner of a construction company specializing in building cattle pens and other agricultural structures. With more than two decades of experience working cattle and designing functional facilities, he prides himself on understanding both the practical and philosophical aspects of ranching operations.
