At the heart of each of the 254 Texas counties is the Commissioners Court.
Victoria County has a County Judge and four Precinct Commissioners. These five elected officials make up Commissioners Court, with the County Judge serving as the presiding officer of the Court.
The Court conducts the general business of the county and governs county financial matters, including the formulation of the annual budget. In addition to this, the Commissioners Court manages and oversees various county departments and services provided to its constituents. The Commissioners Court typically meets at 10:00 a.m. every Monday, in the Commissioners Court room, located at the Victoria County Courthouse, Rm. 241, 2nd Floor, 115 N Bridge St in Victoria, TX.
