Common Agenda

Be Well Victoria

The goal of this Hogg Foundation-funded project is to support rural communities in their efforts to inclusively and collaboratively transform the environments where people live, learn, work, play, and pray to support resilience, mental health, and well-being. Ultimately, by funding your work, the result we seek is a community that values and supports its residents’ resilience, mental health, and well-being so that all community members can thrive.

As a WRC Grantee, Be Well Victoria will address how our community supports resilience and mental health, the community conditions that contribute to mental health disparities, and how members of your community come together to create and implement community-driven solutions. Our main goal is to develop a community collaborative to assess, plan, and implement strategies to become a healthier community that supports resilience, mental health, and well-being. We use a population health approach and upstream methods to address mental health disparities to determine the path toward mental health equity and community wellness. Community Collaboration is a priority and BWV Strives to provide a space in which all partners contribute expertise, share decision-making and ownership, increase understanding of community conditions, and integrate knowledge gained with the goal of improved community well-being.

Be Well Victoria is a nonprofit coalition working to improve the spiritual, mental, and physical wellbeing of every individual regardless of economic status or race.

Victoria is a safe and inclusive community where everyone is valued and has the opportunity for a healthy and prosperous life.
