Public health nursing focuses on promoting and protecting the health of communities and populations as a whole, rather than just individual patients. We work within the community to assess health needs, develop programs and initiatives to address those needs, and advocate for policies that improve health outcomes.

It is the policy of the Victoria County Public Health Department to charge a fee for services rendered in Immunizations, Child Health, Adult Health, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, HIV, and TB. No one is refused services for inability to pay the fees for the services that are federally funded.

We offer several preventative health services. Please call our office at 361-578-6281, option 3 to schedule an appointment or for more information.
