Angie Stafford, MPAFF, CHW, CPST

Texas Home Visiting Program Manager

Angie oversees two home visiting programs within Victoria County, Parents as Teachers and Family Connects, which are designed to build stronger parent child interaction and minimize abuse and neglect. She has been the Texas Home Visiting director for over five years,  becoming a certified Texas Community Health Worker in 2017 and a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician in 2018 to help keep children safe in and outside their homes.  Angie is a graduate from the University of Texas – Pan American with a Bachelor’s of Art in Sociology and recently received her Master’s in Public Affairs from the University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley in 2020.

Angie serves on several community committees and coalitions to stay connected to her community and build resources for families served including the  Victoria Area Homeless Coalition, Family 1st Advisory Committee, VISD/BISD School Health Advisory Council, Food Bank of the Golden Crescent Board, Victoria County Child Welfare Board, Southside Community Coalition, Golden Crescent Children’s Project, Perpetual Help Home Board, Getting Ahead Committee, and UHV JVLCDG Health Services Advisory Committee.
