The Environmental Services Division permits and conducts routine inspections of retail food establishments such as restaurants, institutional facilities including schools, hospitals, and nursing homes, convenience stores, grocery stores, night clubs, and mobile food units.

A valid Food Establishment Permit issued by the Victoria County Public Health Department Environmental Services Division is required prior to opening and operating a food establishment in Calhoun, DeWitt, Jackson and Victoria Counties.
